Use Porsche Slalom Exercise

Porsche Asia Pacific together with Sime Darby Auto Performance as the official importer of Porsche cars in Malaysia held a Media Porsche Driving Academy in 2016.

Activities that take place between 13-16 November 2016 This is a training for the mass media, and held at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, home of the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix.


Slalom with Porsche is one of the menus are presented in the training. In total, there are three levels of training, the Individual, Professional and Elite.

Individual training focuses on the basics of controlling the vehicle, including slalom, braking, safety lines and lane change.

Porsche led by a certified instructor, the program provides insight into the fundamental laws of physics relating to driving.

The study of this control as well as an introduction to a wide range of electronic driving assistance Porsche to use and is not currently on the race track.


On the Professional level, training is more intensive in cornering accurately, cornering exercises involve more complex.

In addition to practice braking and shifting lanes, this year for the first time participants can also feel the Professional Motorsport Conditioning by health instructors who train the regular racers.


Elite Level focuses on journalists who have completed training. The program is designed to support independent sports driving orientation.

By using high-performance Porsches and training one-to-one, journalists can gain insights and experience the car’s overall performance, with advanced techniques such as trail braking and throttle steering.
